Welcome to Cabrini Co-op!

This Catholic Co-op was created to give our children an opportunity to take a class together as they become who God created them to be. We know it is not enough for our children to be well-educated; we want them to be well-rounded, articulate, and above all, virtuous.

Mother Cabrini has given us her model of education as one that prioritizes moral formation,  love for God, and love for neighbor.

At Cabrini Co-op, the children will be surrounded by teachers who are practicing Catholics and are striving to live saintly lives. The children will not only be called to meet academic standards for each class offered, but more importantly will be a part of a team of students who will all be striving for excellence in virtue. For more information on this, please read about it in the section titled Holy Motivation.

Our website is designed to keep parents and teachers informed about the latest news, events, and resources in the co-op community. Our goal is to provide a valuable platform for parents to stay connected. Please reach out with any questions!

Location:

As of Friday, September 5th, we will be meeting at United Methodist Church in Sparta, located off of North Court Street. Please park in their parking lot on North K Street. The entrance we will be using is off of North K Street.

Room 1: Chemistry

Room2: Drawing

Room 3: Montessori

Room 4: Biology and Knitting/Crocheting

Room 5: Story-time and Music

The main hallway is lined with hooks for coats and bags. Room 3 also has some available. Please use as needed.

Rooms 3, 4 and 5 have their own bathrooms. Please assist your children as needed!

The women’s bathroom in the hall has a changing station.

The chapel is available for moms who want privacy while nursing, or if a little one needs a space for quiet.

Time =

We are pushing our start time back to 9:30! First session will be from 9:30-10:20, second session is from 10:25-11:15. We hope this accommodates all our families’ needs!

Sacraments in Sparta =

Mass and Adoration/Confessions will be available just one block south of the United Methodist Church at Saint Patrick’s.

Please note that Mass at Saint Patrick’s will still be held at 8:15 (it was previously discussed that Father may move it earlier, but he is not). Also, Saint Patrick’s usually has Adoration and Confessions from 11-12. If/when this is cancelled due to a funeral we will let you know that week  on our “events” page blog.

Weekly Rental Fee

We will be collecting a 5$ weekly fee from each family to cover our rental fee of 30$/hour. Erin Klinkner will be our treasurer, so she will be handling the weekly collection. Please connect with her for any stumbling blocks you may have in this regard, or if you’d like to pay monthly or per semester.

2025-2026 School year classes offered:

We are still considering options for the upcoming school year.  Take a look at what we have planned so far!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to high demand, middle school chemistry will now be offered in two sessions, one from 9:10-10:00, and one from 10:10-11:00. Please email me if you have a preference as to which class your child(ren) is/are in.

Unfortunately this means we can no longer offer painting, as the library only has one room available for "messy" classes. However, I am planning on offering drawing in both time slots, provided there is enough room at the library to accommodate us all!

Hello,
I’m interested in learning more but I’m a little confused on how the co-op/classes work

I am interested in Middle School Chemistry and Drawing for one child. At this time, we are flexible with scheduling. How many middle school students are allowed? What is the final registration cutoff date? Thank you!
